1 month

Cade is now one month and I can't believe how much he is grown. He is 10 lbs 6 0z and 21 1/2 inches longs. He loves looking around and seems to really know my voice. Some nights he sleeps for along time and some nights he doesn't. We love having him around and can't believe he hasn't always been with us.

My boys all ready for church.

Sleeping

So like every new mom I enjoy taking pictures of my beautiful baby. Especailly of him looking like a little angel when he is sleeping. So here are some really cute pictures of my sleeping angel. Plus when he sleeps he makes the cutest humming sound. He just seems so peacful and happy.Nothing sweeter than a Daddy and his baby.

Visitors

Things are going well. Cade is now 4 weeks old and we have his month check up on Thursday. My how time flies. I can't believe we have had him for a month. I am having fun putting all the cute clothes on him. They are still a little big but that makes them look even cuter. My sister Becca and her husband Chad and daughter Alivia escaped hurricane Ike and came to visit for a week. Luckily there house is fun they just lost power for about 2 weeks. Which isn't fun in the hot humid Houston weather. It was really fun to have them here. We were able to go shopping, to parks, the aquarium, downtown and just hangout. It was cute to see Alivia interact with her cousin. It's always fun to have family around.
Here is Alivia and Cade bonding. It was so cute. Alivia would get really excited to see Cade and want to touch him. She was really soft with him, well as much as a 1 year old can be. She is going to be a good big sister in a few months.
Here we are by the waterfront after we ate lunch at Ivars.
Alivia and Cade in there Sunday clothes. It was Cade's second time at church. He finds it a good place to rest.
Becca bought Alivia her Halloween costume while here so we put both of there hats on. Alivia is going to be a pumpkin and Cade a lion.
This is pretty much what Cade did the whole time we would go somewhere. It was a fun and eventful week.

Pics

So we had some professional pictures taken of Cade about a week ago. Here are a couple of the pictures. We thought she did a really good job and that our baby looks so cute. It has been almost 3 weeks and things are going well. He isn't too fussy, just when he wants something. And he sleeps pretty well, for a newborn. We love having him around and still can't believe he is really ours.
We have been telling everyone that Cade has dimples like Adam but few people have gotten to see them. We were so lucky because we got one good picture where he decided to smile.
If you look at his forehead you can see his swirled cowlick. He got that from Adam also.

A very Ann Gedes picture but it is Cade.

2 Weeks

The first two weeks with Cade have been eventful and full of learning. We couldn't have asked for a better baby. He really only cries when he is hungry, gassy, or needs a diaper change. It is so fun when he grins. Especially when you can see his dimples. He has awake time and he just loves to look around and observe. We have had many changing troubles but I have gotten faster changing him so they don't happen near as often. Feeding is going well and when Daddy is home he does the diapers. I still can't believe this beautiful boy is ours. We went to the doctor at a week and he was 7lbs 11oz, 20 3/4 in long and in the 50% for weight, length, and head size. He also peed on the doctor and soaked the table during his visit. We have gone on some walks and a few outings but mostly we hangout at home still.

Cade loves to sleep with his arms up. He is so cute!
I can't believe how much he is already changing.
