Christmas

We traveled down to warm Houston Texas to be with my family for Christmas. It was really fun being with everyone and enjoying the nice weather. Mom and Dad thanks for everything we had a great time.

Here are the boys at the ward Christmas party. Anytime anyone asked Cade what he wanted from Santa he would say a candy cane.

The boys in there Christmas pjs at home

Down in Texas we went bowling as a family. It was really fun and Cade asked for days after if we could go bowling again.

My little sister is going on a Mission in February so we were able to go through with her. I love the Houston Temple. It brings back special memories since that is were we got married.

The boys on Christmas morning, not really sure on what was going on.

I hope everyone else had a wonderful Christmas season.

Thanksgiving

I know its late but for Thanksgiving we went all the way out to Louisiana for the "big" Callens thanksgiving. It was alot of fun hanging out at the cabins and visiting with everyone. We even got to celebrate Adam's parents 50 anniversary with a party. It was quite the event with skits, food, dancing, and story telling.

I am so thankful for all that I/ we have been blessed with!

Down South

Adam had his 10 year high school reunion in September so we decided to make a big trip out of it and visit our families. We spent some time in Louisiana and Texas. It was so nice to have some heat, lots of family, and Mexican food. (I could eat chips and salsa everyday!).

Adam, his parents and the boys.
On the rope swing. Cade loved it!

In Texas with my family. (After eating some delicious Mexican food)The swing in my moms backyard. It was the first time for Breck.

Playing lacrosse with Uncle Tate.

The last day we were there it was just absolutely beautiful weather. We played outside and even inflated the little splash toy for the kids to run around in.
It was a really fun trip and definitely reminded us where we would like to end up in the long run.

Pumpkin patch

A couple of weeks ago we went to a Pumpkin Patch. It was really fun with lots of activities.

Adam and Breck on the hayride.

Cade finding his perfect pumpkin.

Adam and Cade playing in the "corn" box.

Driving the big tractor.

Riding the cow train. It was so funny to see all the little kids with their little heads bobbling all around.

Update

I have been a total blog slacker lately. We are doing great and the boys are growing like weeds and learning new things everyday.

Breck eating rice cereal for the first time. He still isn't too sure about it.
Decorating Halloween cookies. Really I decorated. Cade just wanted to eat the cookies frosting or not.
Breck just looking cute. I can't believe how big he is getting. And can you see his 3 dimples? (one on each cheek and one in the chin)

2 years

How does time seem to go so fast. Cade's two and so excited about it. He is always on the go but he is such a sweet boy. Right now he is really into motorcycles and guitars (I am a little worried for when he is 16). So we thought a little guitar birthday would be perfect we played pin the pick on the guitar, whacked a guitar pinata, and ate some good food. A perfect little party for a big 2 year old.

Whacking the guitar pinataHe even got his own guitar. Complete with flames.
His birthday cake. ( I thought I did pretty good)

This little boy has brought so much happiness in to our lives. He keeps me on my toes but he is always willing to help and give hugs. He loves his brother, balls, guitars, bikes, anything electronic, books, dancing, music, fire, dogs, the trash truck just to name a few. He is so funny. He likes to share and proceeds to tell me "Cade nice share with Breck". He even mimics Breck and says "Breck said (insert noise that Breck made)". I absolutely love this boy and am so lucky to be his mom. Happy Birthday Big Boy!

Four Months

I can't believe Breck is 4 months old. I remember Cade being a happy baby but I think Breck is even happier. He has been a rolling machine for the last couple of weeks. He is a great sleeper and eater. He loves to watch everyone. He especially loves to watch Cade and instantly smiles when Cade looks at him. It's already so funny to see these 2 boys together. He makes the cutest noises and will try to talk to you. He has the best smile and 3 dimples (one on each cheek and a chin dimple) to go along with it. I think there is nothing better than the first few months of smiles when babies give real smiles, with no teeth changing it yet, their little eyes just light up, and usually there whole body gets into it. Seriously nothing better. We adore having him in our family.

Boating

One of our friends has a boat and he took us for a ride. We were nervous about taking the boys but they both loved it.

Camping

Recently we went camping. For are first family camping trip I thought it went really well. The boys loved being outside and getting dirty. We built fires, ate smores (and lots of other bad things), and went hiking (okay maybe just walks). We had a really good time just enjoying the out doors.
We went up to Mt. Rainier and thought we would go on about a mile hike. Needless to say we only do the picnic table loop before Cade found an interesting sign he couldn't be without and our friends little boy found a puddle.

Who could resist such a cool sign with a fire, a bike, and a dog. I mean seriously!

I think we just might do it again.
