Christmas Time

I love Christmas time! We have been keeping ourselves busy and trying to stay warm. Here are some pics of what we have been up to this month.

I think boys in hats are just adorable so I finally found a little beanie for Cade. It's a tad to big so we roll the bottom but doesn't he look so cute. And you can see the Christmas tie I bought Adam.

Here is Cade in his first snow!
In Bellevue they have this Christmas drumming thing. This one street is covered in lights and then these people come out dressed as toy soldiers with drums and drum along to Christmas music. They also have fake snow fall during the performance. Although the night we went it really did snow.

Here we are at the ward Christmas party. I wanted a picture because I finally looked decent.

Cade got his picture taken with Santa. He didn't really care. But of course the camera comes out and we can't get him to smile. At least we kind of got him to look.

Another evening Redmond City Hall lights a Christmas tree and puts lights all along a trail. So we bundled up and went walking along the trail. Don't you love Cades elf shoes.

So Adam's work had their Christmas party at the Space Needle. We had never been up it so it was really fun. They had nice music, okay food, but really good desserts. It was also our first real date without Cade. Thanks April for watching him. Here is the view from the top.

Here we are all dressed up and enjoying the music.
We hope everyones Holiday season has been enjoyable thus far. On wed. we are off to Houston to be with my family for Christmas!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

CADE

I can't believe how time flies. Cade is now 3 months old and makes everyday so fun. Cade now smiles, laughs/shrieks with delight, is getting better at holding up his head and can roll over with a little help. He loves to look at his hands and can tell moms voice from everyone elses. He has had his first cold and shots been on an airplane, experienced his first holdiays and meet many family and friends. He has been to movies, a baseball game, the aquarime, parks, and many other outtings. He is a delight in our family and has the most wonderful personality and disposition. His smile is sure to make anyone melt.

Here Cade is about 2 days old. My how they grow so fast.

Cade now loves to pull his blankets up to face. Sometimes he gets them stuck but he sure seems to love it.

He loves to play possum! He has the best smile, even in his sleep
.

Who could resist that big grin and dimples?

He is such a big boy. Working on sitting up, rolling over, and holding his head up all on his own.

Thanksgiving

We went to Louisiana for Thanksgiving. We first went to Adams parents house and then went to some cabins for a couple of days. Cade got to meet his grams and granddad for the first time along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Here is Cade sleeping. Almost always with those arms up.

The adults talking.
Cade in his Thanksgiving outfit. Unfortunately Cade caught a horrible cold and I ended up throwing up on Thanksgiving so we spent most of the day sleeping in our cabin.
Cade playing peekaboo and grams house.
Cade and grams.

Houston

So Cade and I went to Houston for a couple of days before we met Adam at the airport to go to Louisiana for Thanksgiving. It was a good visit but Alivia was sick and Cade and I ended up getting it. We enjoyed the warmer weather and being with family.
Here is Uncle Chad and Cade resting. So tired and so cute!
Getting ready for Christmas with an elf hat.

Cade and Uncle Tate finally got to meet. They will be good friends.Grandma enjoying her grand babies. I don't know how she is going to fit two more on that lap.So we went to a Birthday party and my mom and I thought it would be cute for Cade to wear a party hat. Apparently Cade disagreed. I thought it was so sad and so cute.
