18 Months

I can't believe my baby boy is 18 Months. What's even more weird is that in about 2 months I will have another baby boy. Cade is so much fun. He is constantly on the go! He climbs, jumps, throws, runs, he just doesn't do much sitting still. He is interested in everything and loves to help. He is great at throwing things away, helping cook, putting laundry and dishes away. He loves to talk and especially likes to point out every car, bus, bird, and siren (well any noise really). He is still a great eater and loves to try what mom and dad are eating. At the park he loves the swings more than anything else, and could probably sit in it all day. He adores his dad and lights up when he sees him. Cade loves to play hide and seek and he has gotten very into coloring recently. He likes to look and pictures and point out everyone. When we walk in the door to our house he says "home" and gets very excited, it really is the cutest thing. He also very much lets us know when he is done and ready to go, he brings us his shoes, and the diaper bag and starts saying bye. Everyday he amazes me and I feel so blessed that I get the opportunity to teach him and watch him grow.

Utah Christmas

For Christmas we went to Park City Utah where my parents were gracious enough to bring the family together. It was alot of fun to have a white Christmas and spend time with family.

This is the cabin we stayed in. It was really nice and had enough room for everyone. We even could go sledding right out side the front door.

We went to tubing. Cade couldn't go on the big hills but we would swing him around and they had a small hill that you could push little kids down. He absolutely loved it!

We stayed a couple of days after Christmas and got to see some of Adam's family who came in for Austins wedding.

The Christmas holidays were really fun and busy. We can't wait for next year.

My parents sent Cade a candy advent calendar. He loved it! Everyday he would come out of his room and say "treat!" Thanks mom and dad.

They have these amazing Christmas lights that they put up at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. It was really neat to see what they could make with just Christmas lights.

We had our own little Christmas before we headed to Utah to be with my family.

We found out we are going to have another bouncing baby boy! We are super excited for the adventures having two boys will bring!

November

This November has been full of many exciting adventures.

We have learned new ways to play with toys. This is just a dump truck, not actually made as a sit and ride toy.Been playing even more make believe and copying mommy and daddy.Explored the Seattle AquariumHad a good Thanksgiving dinner with friendsFirst haircutPut together some new furnitureand put up a Christmas tree!

Hope your November was just as fun and that December is even better.

What to do?

Now that it has gotten cold and rainy, and will be this way forever. Not really but lets realistically say May. I need ideas of what to do with Cade. He's 14 months old and is so much fun but is always on the go and up to something. I would like his "up to something" to be fun rather than just destructive. Please, I could really use some suggestions on where to take toddlers and what's good fun activities to do at home. Thanks in advance.
