Museum of Flight and berry picking

This past month we went and picked raspberries. They were so good.Cade taking a break and riding the hay horse. We also went to The Museum of Flight. It was fun to see all the big planes. I was surprised how much the museum had in it. All the way from Space Travel to the beginning of planes including WW1 and WW2 which Adam really enjoyed.

Here we are in the kids section flying a plane.

Ballard Locks

We have been trying to take advantage of the sun that we feel like we rarely see. So a couple of Saturdays ago we went to The South 47 Farm in hopes to pick raspberries but because of the cold winter they still weren't ready but Cade enjoyed petting a goat, so it was worth it. Then we were off to the Ballard Locks to see the salmon. Lastly we stopped off at the famous cupcake place Cupcake Royale, if you haven't tried them you should.

Cade being a scarecrow. He didn't care for the sun in his eyes.Petting the pygmy goats. He loved it!Trying to see the salmon.Adam and Cade stopping to smell the roses. We stopped and listened to some music and played in the grass. Isn't this just a face for mischief.

Father- son camp out

So I have a pretty amazing husband and he loves being a father. So when he heard about the ward father-son camp out he couldn't wait. So I helped pack them up and sent them with a cooler of frozen milk and they were ready for the great outdoors. I told Adam I needed at least four pictures, I did get a few more than that.

Everything all set up and ready. Enjoying the outdoors.Cade loved being outside and with all the other boys

Playing in the tent
Finally worn out from all the fun!
Thanks Adam and Cade for letting me rest!

9 Months and more...

So Cade is 9 months! Time sure does fly by. He is a pretty amazing kid. Turns out he is tall and skinny (75% and 40%). I don't know where he gets that from. He crawls at the speed of light and pulls himself up to standing where every he can. He loves to talk and play. He still loves books, his sippy cups, and any sort of electronic gadget. He has started to let go of things and stand for a few seconds. He loves water, grass, rocks, and wood chips (especially when he can get them into his mouth). He will laugh after we laugh and he will give kisses and wrestle with us. He really is a joy to have in our home!
Look how big he is getting! Cuddling his night time blanket! At the zoo! He might have people watched more than watching the animals. Matching for church! (I made Cade's tie!)Around Easter we had late 6 month pictures taken of Cade. Thanks Kelsey!

Play time

Cade loves to play and is now all over the place. He can crawl now and boy is he good at it. He went from backwards to forwards on all fours in a matter of days. The funny thing is he would rather stand up and walk. He really is our bundle of joy.

Cade loves toys. It is really fun to watch him learn what to do with the different toys and where certain pieces go. He has figured out what buttons to push to make toys do what he wants. He has also discovered the joys of wheels and things that spin.
Here he is crawling to reach the mail. He sure loves the advertisements. And finally we got some sun and 70 degree weather. So we went down to the little beach/ lake we have around here. Cade loved the cold water and sand.

Tulips

This last week we went to the Tulip festival near us. It was kind of a drive but the flowers were beautiful!
